Executive Board

Three of our six managing directors – Achim Berger, Thomas Cotic and Walter Pitz – were founding members of the company and have successfully guided Innovations from the start. David Kim joined in 2008. He heads up Innovations in Chicago. Thomas Schmid was with the Bosch Group for a number of years and has been part of the Innovations management team since December 2008. Since October 2009, Anuj Jain supports Innovations in Singapore.

Achim Berger

Achim Berger is a founding member and Managing Director of Innovations Software Technology GmbH. Prior to Innovations’ launch in 1997, Achim Berger, who holds a degree in engineering, worked at a number of technology companies in Europe and the United States.  At Innovations, he has overall responsibility for Human Resources, Marketing, Finance & Controlling, IT Infrastructure & Applications, Quality Management and Customer Services.

Thomas Cotic

Thomas Cotic is a founding member and Managing Director of Innovations Software Technology GmbH. Prior to Innovations’ launch in 1997, Thomas Cotic, who holds a degree in IT, was on the management team at a technology company focused on intelligent systems.  At Innovations, he is in charge of technology solutions, which markets cross-industry software solutions. His primary focus is on implementing Business Rules Management Systems. Together with Thomas Schmid, he is responsible for the Platform & Components division.

Walter Pitz

Walter Pitz heads up the financial industry solutions department and directs business development and marketing of software solutions for financial services providers in EMEA and APAC. As a founding member and Managing Director of Innovations Software Technology GmbH, he held a formative role in the areas of health care and finance in particular. In the course of his professional career prior to joining Innovations, Walter Pitz held various managerial positions related to data mining.

Thomas Schmid

Thomas Schmid joined the management of Innovations in December 2008, where he is responsible for new business projects and platform & components. He was previously with the Bosch Group as an IT architect, project manager and department head in software development. With his experience in a variety of positions within the Bosch Group, Thomas Schmid will play a formative role in developing these new areas at Innovations.

David S. Kim

David S. Kim is Managing Director and CEO of Innovations Software Technology Corporation. He has over 17 years of experience in enterprise software and previously held executive leadership positions at DPG, BroadVision, Citigroup. David earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

Anuj Jain

Anuj Jain is Managing Director of Innovations Software Technology, Asia.  He has much experience in solutions sales within the Finance industry in Asia Pacific and held leadership positions at Oracle Financial Services and Nucleus Software.  He has successfully architected & contributed to developing multiple start-up operations, including bringing Honda cars to India.  With an MBA in Finance, he started his career with ANZ Grindlays Banking Group, India.  He is an Electronics and Communication Engineer which explains his love for gadgets.  He is also a regular at several marathons.
