The MAID (Market Abuse/Insider Dealing Detection) software solution reviews stock market transactions and orders "ex post" reviews (after close-of-day processing). The logic stored in the rules detects possible compliance issues and generates hits that the compliance officer must investigate. Monitoring scenarios may be based on individual transactions or orders, time periods, or patterns.
