Business Implementation Process

The Credit Management Platform supports all tasks involved in implementing, testing, simulating and deploying credit processes into production. Business experts can easily complete each step in the process from building the model to deploying the rules. The individual process steps are depicted below.

Model Implementation

Using the Model Authoring Platform, scoring and rating logic, workflows and user interfaces are graphically modeled. There are no limits to the complexity of calculations, decision and workflow logic that the platform can handle. Because of the structured modeling, business experts can create and maintain the logic modules without programming knowledge. All models are versioned in a repository, the Team Server, and model changes are thoroughly recorded.

Generating Program Code

Encapsulated and executable program code (Java) is generated from the graphical models. The code is then deployed to the Credit Manager (or any other application) for execution.

Test and Simulation

The Model Authoring Platform offers an extensive testing environment to ensure the quality of scoring and rating models. Tests can be directly executed for validation purposes. Only models that are fully tested and accurate are deployed.

Changes to credit decisioning models can be simulated before deployment and subjected to stress tests. This allows the effects of model changes to be analyzed for the entire portfolio. Furthermore, risk parameters can be stressed and applied to "what if" analyses.

Generating Documentation

Complete documentation is created automatically for all logic modules (rating and scoring logic, process logic). It encompasses the data model and the entire calculation and decisioning logic. At any time, documentation can be generated for auditing purposes.

Upload and Deployment

The Credit Manager allows for seamless delivery of program code to the desired execution environment with assured quality using an integrated upload and deployment process. The extensive version management allows for viewing the complete model history and for administering upload, activation and validity periods.
